I was wondering if you found out anything as I also purchased a NEW TS201 also from Tire Rack and received it yesterday and went to update it and it comes up with a statement something as to authorization issue. The package I received was sliced open across the bottom of the clamshell but everything was there and it appeared like a new unit until I tried the update. I called Tire Rack and told them I want a replacement ASAP but since it was late on Friday I have to wait till Monday for a reply.
I am surprised that Tire Rack which is an authorized Autel dealer would pull something like that.
When it is replaced and/or returned and refunded I will stay away from Tire Rack from now on!
